Check-in and check-out

The address for Løvtag Mariager Fjord is Als Oddevej 76, 9560 Hadsund.

Upon arrival, you can park at the parking lot. From there, it’s just a short walk of a few hundred meters to your cabin. You are welcome to use one of the carts available at the parking lot to transport your luggage.

We don’t have a physical reception, so you will let yourself into the cabin with a code that will be sent to you by email prior to your stay.

You have access to your cabin from 3:00 PM on the arrival day until 11:00 AM on the departure day. You are welcome to enjoy the forest before and after your stay.

The light breakfast

Your stay includes a light breakfast, which will be ready for you upon your arrival at the cabin.

The breakfast consists of homemade crispbread from Als Bageri, butter, organic jam, Fairtrade coffee, tea from Perchs, skimmed milk, and apple juice from Frugthaven in Skørping. Simple and delicious.

We recommend enjoying the breakfast in your cabin with a view of the forest. Alternatively, you can use the picnic cabin near the parking lot.

The big breakfast menu

When you book your cabin at Løvtag Mariager Fjord, you have the option to add the big breakfast menu.

The big breakfast menu includes: Delicious sourdough rolls (frozen), organic chocolate spread, creamy and rich cheese, fresh skyr with berries, organic eggs, sausages from the local butcher in Als, hummus, and some fresh vegetables.

Please note that the food is not prepared.
Price per person: DKK 175, including delivery to the cabin – minimum two persons.

Dogs are welcome in the cabins Læ and Ly

If you book the cabins Ly or Læ, you have the option to bring your dog during your stay.

If so, please select this option when booking your cabin. We charge an additional cleaning fee of DKK 250 for the dog.

The other cabins are kept pet-free due to allergy concerns.

Please remember that dogs must be kept on a leash when you go into the forest.

Equipment in the cabins

You should think of our cabins as fully equipped hotel rooms in the middle of the forest. They are heated and well-insulated, with electricity and running water, a regular toilet, and a shower under the open sky six meters high.

There’s even a small kitchen with a combi oven, hotplates, dishes, and common kitchen utensils.

Bed linens and towels are provided for up to four people, along with a hairdryer, dish towel, cleaning cloth, soap, and dishwashing liquid.

There are blankets and cushions for the outdoor furniture, so you can enjoy the view from the terrace even when it’s cold.

What to bring?

Although the cabin is fully heated, the floor can get a bit cold in the winter. So, if you’re visiting during the colder months, it’s a good idea to bring a pair of wool socks or slippers. Don’t forget to bring practical footwear for a walk in the forest as well.

If you plan to swim in the fjord or the sea, you’ll need to bring your own beach towel.

If you’re a family of five, you’re welcome to book a cabin for four people and bring your own mattress, bed linen, towels, etc. for the fifth person.
